"Well, whatever it is they do, [Stoneboat Winery] has something solidly in hand. The present portfolio was the first to reach my palate, and I can seriously say that no new winery in the Okanagan has impressed me so much since I started commenting on that scene in 1975." - Jurgen Gothe, Uncorked, November 19, 2009

Sourced from 25-year-old vines, our 2008 Pinot Blanc offers fresh aromas of melon, pineapple and subtle honey. The palate is well rounded with ripe green apple and melon flavours, followed by notes of slate, citrus zest and bright acidity on the finish.

Deep ruby in hue, our 2007 pinot greets the nose with aromas of violets, tobacco and black cherry. The palate is classic- rounded and silky with red berry flavours and an earthy undertone. Charming overall, and a worthy successor to the 2006 vintage.

I’ll admit to having made a couple of double-takes at this wine’s price, thinking maybe that
importer Dan Kravitz had mistakenly provided me with his cost or possibly the wholesale price ...
it’s been that long since I’ve tasted a $5 wine that was worthy of recommending! Vina Antigua’s
2005 Tinto, a blend of equal proportions Bonarda and Sangiovese, is a stunning value! It bursts
from the glass with spicy red fruits and coats the palate with blackberries as well as red cherries.
There is nothing complex about this fruit-forward effort, it is exactly what a consumer would wish
it to be at this price point: a satin-textured, light to medium-bodied red for enormously pleasing
quaffing. Anyone having a party this summer? Drink it over the next 8-12 months.

It’s back!! Remember this little Argentine beauty from earlier this year? Well, the 2006 vintage is
in and it’s every bit as good as the 2005. The blend is the same too – 50% Sangiovese and 50%
Bonarda. Medium-bodied, spicy and extremely easy to drink, this definitely has a little Italian
flair to it. Knock up a simple pizza with tomatoes, pancetta and Parmesan…that’s what I did. At
$ 8.99 this is a wine to buy by the case, in fact I bet that if you show up to one your Christmas
parties with a bottle of this under your arm you might just be a hero…..at least for the evening.

"Big bargain. Soft but full, easy to drink, none of those hard edges you get with a lot of this variety at the cheaper end--it's a great companion for lasagna or grilled eggplant and peppers, even a slab of really food Parmesan with really good extra virgin olive oil. Taste it. It'll make you never want to look at another bottle of Farnese again." -Jurgen Gothe
